Trinity River Wind Festival Presented by NRG
Saturday, May 18, 2013 will be all about flying kites and having fun in the Dallas Floodway. This outdoor festival features show kites, stunt kites, general public kite flying, Second Spin Rescue Disc Dogs, Wildflower Planting, Kids Fun Zone, and many other fun adventures and activities! Free admission, parking and food for a fee at 146 W. Commerce Street, Dallas, TX!
2012 Trinity River Photo Contest
The next Trinity River Photo Contest begins June 1, 2013 and it will end on October 15, 2013. Reserve some time to get outdoors and take photos in the Trinity River corridor which stretches from Web Chapel in the North to just past IH-20 in the South.

9th Annual Trinity River Levee Run
Saturday, March 2, 2013 was cold and windy but over 1000 runners ran across the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge and raced through the streets of the Dallas Design District. It was the Dallas Fire-Rescue Department that took the win for the fourth year in the Glenn Carter Safety Challenge and along with the team from Fire and Police 250 City of Dallas employees joined the run this year. In the afternoon, group yoga took charge chilling out literally and figuratively on the bridge. Cold as it was, 150 yoga enthusiasts and beginners they took off their shoes and stretched on the steel.
