Trinity Parkway Status

On August 9, 2017, the Dallas City Council approved a resolution to reject the Trinity Parkway Alternative 3C as the City of Dallas' locally preferred alternative for the planned Trinity Parkway. Since the 1970s, the City of Dallas has contemplated various "river freeway" scenarios.   At this time, there are no updates regarding plans to build any type of river road scenario in the Dallas Floodway.
